the Quartetto Chagall
The Quartetto Chagall is made up of young musicians who met during their studies in the city of Trieste.
Coming from numerous and varied chamber msuci experiences, in 2014 we decided to found this group, with the precise intention of creating original, unique and exciting events that combine the traditional quartet repertoire and rarely performed compositions, with the aim of spreading through Music some of the most important social values.
The Quartetto Chagall obtained important recognitions, including the Golden Award (First Prize) and two special prizes at the IX International Competition of Svirél (Slovenia), the First Prize at the XXX “Lilian Caraian” Competition (Trieste) and the title of finalists (3rd place) at the International Competition “Cameristi dell'Alpe Adria” (Majano-UD, 2016) and has performed for important festivals, concert seasons and cultural institutions in Italy and abroad. To name a few: SIMC Montserrat (Valencia - Spain), Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg (Austria), Victoria International Art Festival (Malta), Imago Sloveniae (Ljubljana – SLO), Società dei Concerti di Parma, Società dei Concerti di Trieste, Amici della Musica “W. de Angelis” of Campobasso and many others.
We actively collaborate with renowned artists like Igor Zobin (accordion), Francesco Lopergolo (multivisions), Pierluigi Rojatti (cello), Angelica Groppi (viola) and many others.

Institutions and the audience appreciate our great passion and the perfect blend present in our performances, the great attention to dynamics and details and the originality of our proposals, harbingers of values and messages for society.
Marc Chagall and his painting “The Blue Violinist” (1913) inspired our projects and the name of the group.
Since 2020, the Quartetto Chagall has formed the Artistic Committee of the TRIESTECLASSICA APS Association, active in the organization of important musical projects by and for young people.
In an evening that will remain in the memory of all participants, the prestigious Quartetto Chagall once again demonstrated the very high level of fusion between the musicians, achieving perfect harmony and a palpable bond with the audience.
